Minutes adopted from April 26, 2022 meeting.
FINANCIAL REPORT:
$32,242.08 in account as of September 30, 2022.
Burger Night expenses $600.00+/-, Income $300.00 +/-
SOCIAL REPORT:
Burger Night well attended, would have had more but the mosquitoes were too bad through the beginning of August.
Should we have a Christmas Dinner?
HALL MAINTENANCE:
Doug proposed we hire a lawn maintenance company to look after the grounds next year. It was agreed that would be a good solution to the difficulty of finding locals available to do the job.
Water Soft BC was out to replace light in UV filter and then replaced ballast as well. RDNO to cover the cost.
Shannon is doing a good job of cleaning after events.
Got the signing authority on the bank accounts sorted out.
Interior Health inspector went over the hall with a fine tooth comb. Results:
- Space between the entrance door needs to be closed so insects and dirt cannot enter.
- Dishwasher not coming up to proper temperature. Fixed
- Pest Control. No sign of pests in hall.
- Surfaces must be sprayed with bleach solution before and after events
- Plastic bus tray melted and has been replaced.
- Must do monthly water samples; water sample to be dropped of at Interior Health. Andrew offered to do that
- We need a meat thermometer available for people to use.
Andrew sent the report to Tannis and advised that we are remedying the deficiencies.
EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT
Non-directors should submit an estimate of expense for approval prior to spending money.
Bursary awarded to Ali Maltman.
Stump-Rancher. Joe's office is no longer able to print the paper. We'll have to look at other options.
