In Attendance: Fred Smith, Doug Neill, Andrew Miller, Dave Lansing, Terri Deuling, Sonja Peters
1. Meeting Called to order 7pm
2. Agenda Adopted;
3. Minutes of November 13 meeting adopted;
Treasurer Report: $29,490.00 in account, all bills paid.
Rental Report: A few short term, short notice rentals such as birthday parties etc.
Moms and tots: Still going, consistent attendance. Usually 6 adults and children.
OLD BUSINESS
Propane Tank; birch trees around tank should be removed. Andrew checked with RDNO, will follow up again in the spring. Doug cleaned up the shrubs around the tank.
Irrigation; RDNO will pay for the installation, good fire mitigation
Fire Preparedness; talked about how to get people engaged.
Sign direction arrow; Doug will put up an arrow when events scheduled. Kate will do the sign.
Web Page Changes; Sonja could design a new web page, in her off season. Just needs to be very basic.
NEW BUSINESS
-Spring Cleanup; Storage room needs to be cleaned up;
-Telephone Concerns; Fibre optics not too reliable, Telus is phasing out the old land lines.
-Summer Events; Burger Nights, Potluck, Monashee Arts council, Dave will check if MAC still planning summer art events at hall.
-Landscaping and Grass Cutting; Terri will check with Amanda if Holly is still interested in mowing.
DISCUSSION
Talked about water testing meeting held at RDNO office with MOE in attendance. Testing will continue put testing focus will change slightly.
Next Meeting March 19, 2025 AGM to be determined at next meeting.
